Plans

The editor is open source and the gallery is free to use. A subscription pays for the parts that cost us money to run — the generative AI, and the live viewer that plays published work in a browser instead of showing a still.

Allowances are daily, and they are per feature rather than pooled, because the features do not cost the same. A canvas assist runs on the small model and costs a fraction of a cent; a refactor of a large patch can cost several hundred times that. One shared number would be sized for the cheap call and spent on the dear one.

Free

Your plan
Free
Forever, account or not

For everyone who visits. No account needed to start.

  • The open-source editor, in full
  • Patch review and canvas assist — AI that reads what you already made
  • Publish to the gallery, keep a 3D space
  • A smaller AI allowance while signed out — signing in raises it

Cloude

For artists making work with the editor every week.

  • Generative AI: whole patches and custom nodes from a prompt
  • Patch refactor — the AI rewrites and tidies what you have
  • The web viewer — published work runs live instead of as a still
  • The pro artist panel in the gallery

Studio

For work that leaves the laptop: installations, venues, shows.

  • NDI output, to other machines on the network
  • Multi-screen output, with per-screen framing
  • The AI creative director, across a whole piece
  • The largest allowances on every AI feature

What each tier includes

Allowances are per account and reset on a fixed window. A signed-out visitor gets a smaller share of the free allowance; signing in raises it, and costs nothing. Rows marked add-on are sold separately and work on any plan — see below.

Add-on

Add-ons

Bought on their own and usable on any plan, including Free. They are separate from the plans because what they cost us is machine time rather than model tokens, and a cost like that does not divide evenly into a monthly price.

Pro artist panel

Not sold yet

The extended artist tooling in the gallery: analytics, space controls, publishing options.

Included with Cloude and above, at no extra charge.

Not sold on its own yet — there is no add-on checkout. It comes with Cloude in the meantime.

Server-side rendering

Not yet

Renders a patch on our machines rather than yours.

There is no render capacity behind it yet, and it is not yet settled whether this renders a file you download or streams a session that runs live — which changes what it costs and how it would be metered. Pricing it before that would be a guess.

Questions

What happens when an allowance runs out?

The feature says so and comes back when the window resets — nothing is charged for going over, and nothing else on the account is affected.

Can I cancel?

Any time, from Manage billing. The plan keeps running until the end of the period you have paid for, then the account goes back to Free. Work you have published stays published.

What happens to my patches if I stop paying?

They are yours. The editor is open source and reads them locally; a lapsed subscription closes the generative AI features and the live viewer, not your files.

Why are the daily allowances the size they are?

Each one is a count of calls the plan can carry, worked out from what those calls cost us in model tokens. They are per feature and per day for the same reason: a generated patch and a canvas assist differ in cost by more than a hundred times, and a day is short enough that a bad afternoon cannot spend a month. We would rather set them from what calls actually cost and say so than round them up to look generous.

Patch refactor used to be free. What changed?

It moved to Cloude. Refactor turned out to be the dearest call the editor makes — its schema lets it write a whole large patch back, so it bills more than generating one from scratch — and it is the only feature that rewrites your document. Patch review and canvas assist stay free, and they are the two that read a patch without touching it.

When can I buy server-side rendering?

Not yet, and we would rather say so than take the money. It needs GPUs we do not have, and a GPU costs the same whether it is rendering or idle. We have also not settled whether it hands you a finished file or runs your patch live on our machines — which is not a detail, because one is priced per job and the other by the minute it stays running.

Do I need an account to use the free tier?

No. Free means everyone who visits. Signing in raises the AI allowance to the full free amount, which is why it is worth doing, but nothing is gated behind it.

Is there a discount for students, or for people who cannot pay?

Yes — write to hello@tenderworld.org and say what you are making. Tiers can be granted directly.

How do I subscribe right now?

Checkout is not switched on for this deployment yet. Write to hello@tenderworld.org and a tier can be granted to your account directly.
